This alloy can be used to join copper, silver, and nickel based alloys and is useful for hermetic sealing applications where ceramics or glasses are joined to metals typically within a vacuum environment. Its copper content results in its wetting ability. These spheres create extremely strong joints and provide excellent electrical and thermal conductivity in high frequency electrical packages.
